Abstract
Out of a total of 12,316 patients seen in the years 1974–1976, of whom 2900 had suffered head injuries, we selected 113 patients fulfilling three conditions: 1. a closed head injury, 2. a period of unconsciousness of at least 24 h, and 3. treatment in our clinics at least three times. On the average, the trauma had occurred 5–8 years before the last phase of treatment.
