Zusammenfassung
Das Rechenzentrum ist eine Einrichtung zur Versorgung seiner Benutzer mit Rechenkapazität. Dieser Versorgungsaufgabe nachzukommen heißt, die Anforderungen der Benutzer hinsichtlich sowohl der Rechenkapazität als auch der Ausstattung mit der hierfür angemessenen Endperipherie zu befriedigen. Es ist selbstverständlich, daß diese Aufgabe auf eine möglichst wirtschaftliche Weise gelöst wird.
