Zusammenfassung

Das anspruchsvolle Konzept der Immuntherapie maligner Tumoren basiert auf der grundlegenden tumorimmunologischen Erkenntnis, daß viele maligne transformierte Zellen membranständige Antigene tragen, die den korrespondierenden normalen Zellen fehlen. Die Natur dieser tumorassoziierten Antigene ist im einzelnen noch nicht bekannt; in vielen Fällen scheint es, daß sie den sog. Fetalen Antigenen entsprechen. Dies trifft mit hoher Wahrscheinlichkeit auch für das maligne Melanom zu [11].
