Zusammenfassung

Die Wechselwirkungen zwischen Chloramphenicol (CAP) und Thiamphemcol (TAP) und dem Organismus wurden 1973 in einem internationalen Symposium in Sils Maria eingehend besprochen und später in einem Supplement des Postgraduate Medical Journal (Oktober 1974) publiziert. Seither sind weitere Arbeiten über die biochemische Wirkung und Toxizität von CAP und TAP erschienen. Es fällt schwer, die gesamte Literatur in einem kurzen Vortrag zusammenzufassen.
