Abstract

A regional medical monograph which seeks to present the reciprocal interactions between man and his physical, biological, and social environments in the modern sense of the word as defined by H. J. Jusatz (1963), i.e., as a medical ecology in the broadest sense of the word (Diesfeld, 1969), has to allow ample space for the health services of a country and their analysis.
