A New Simple Assay for Determining Digoxin Serum Levels

When this symposium was arrangea, we intended to present our solid-phase tube RIA for determining digoxin (this kit being on the market for half a year now). In the meantime, work on an enzyme immunoassay has been completed; therefore, we found it more appropriate to report on this assay, thus justifying the announcement of a new assay for determining digoxin levels. Because the ELISA will always be compared with the RIA, some information on the RIA is also given in this report. This ELISA was developed by my colleague Dr. Kleinhammer.
