Zusammenfassung

Die Erkrankungen des Pigmentsystems nehmen in der Regel in Histopatho-logiebüchern der Haut nur einen sehr kleinen Platz ein, weil die lichtmikrosko pisch, auf Routineschnitten faßbaren Veränderungen selten ein eindeutiges diagno-stisch verwertbares Resultat ergeben. Durch die Anwendung spezieller Methoden kann jedoch die mikroskopische Beurteilung einer Pigmentanomalie oft wesent-liches sowohl zur Diagnose als auch zum besseren Verständnis beitragen.
