Zusammenfassung
Die transcutane Sauerstoffmessung ist eine polarographische Meßmethode. Sie beruht darauf, daß physikalisch gelöste Sauerstoffmoleküle (HENRY, 1803) in elektrolytisch leitenden Medien an Edelmetallkathoden bei einem bestimmten Potential selektiv reduziert werden. Der hierbei fließende Meßstrom ist der Konzentration des im Medium gelösten Sauerstoffes proportional (DANNEEL, 1897/98).
