The Normal Testicle
The development of the testicle in children is a continuous process, which goes on after birth until puberty. The diameter of the seminiferous tubule increases steadily until the 12th year (Fig. 14). Only with the appearance of the lumen does a sudden rapid increase in diameter take place.
