Cryptorchidism

Abstract

Ultra structural studies were carried out on 154 biopsies obtained from the cryptorchid testicles of children between the ages of two weeks and sixteen years (Table 1). 37 biopsies of normal testicles from children aged between a few days and fourteen years served as a control. Most of the biopsies from normal testicles, particularly up to the age of one, were obtained immediately post mortem.
