Zusammenfassung
Frakturen am proximalen Humerus sind für das Wachstumsalter viel weniger charakteristisch als für das hohe Alter. Diese wohlbekannte Tatsache kommt erneut in einer Statistik von Tondeur zum Ausdruck. Neer und Horwitz fanden unter 2500 Epiphysenlösungen und Lysefrakturen die obere Humerusepiphyse nur mit 3% beteiligt. In unserem Krankengut beträgt der Anteil der proximalen Humerusfrakturen an allen Brüchen im Kindesalter 3,4%.
