Zusammenfassung

Ist es wichtig, zwischen einer Laktatazetämie (bei Werten von 2–4 mmol/l) ohne Komplikationen und einer Ketonämie etwa gleicher Größenordnung ohne Azidose zu unterscheiden? Es ist häufig zu beobachten, daß Laktat allein oder Ketonkörper allein bestimmt werden und dann Rückschlüsse daraus gezogen werden, ohne daß dabei der Gesamt-pH berücksichtigt wird.
