Zusammenfassung

Eine fleischreiche Mahlzeit führt, wie von mehreren Arbeitsgruppen gezeigt werden konnte (1), zu einem Druckanstieg im unteren Oesophagussphincter (UOS). Wie dieser Druckanstieg zustande kommt ist zur Zeit noch unklar. Dem Antrum kommt dabei offenbar keine nennenswerte Bedeutung zu (2). Gegenstand dieser Untersuchungen ist, inwieweit das Duodenum eine Rolle in der Regulation der Funktion des unteren Oesophagussphincters spielt.
