Abstract
The clinical relationship between migraine and cerebrovascular disease is tenuous, to say the least, except perhaps for the fact that some patients experience transient neurologic symptoms during a migraine attack and the recent report that the incidence of hypertension, a predisposing factor to atherosclerosis, is higher in migrainous subjects than in the population at large (Leviton et al., 1974).
