Abstract
Selective injection of the branches of the external carotid artery has considerably broadened our knowledge of the normal vascular supply to the cranio-cervical region. Similar detailed information has been gained by the study of tumours as regards their feeding vessels, the tumoral angioarchitecture, and their extension in tissue planes.
