Summary
The possibility has been ruled out that prostaglandin release may contribute to the development of vasogenic cerebral edema and that sodium transport may be involved in mechanisms of its resolution.
The heat coagulation model of vasogenic edema was developed when it became clear that the freezing model is not suitable for EEG studies.
