Abstract

The last review on population genetics was given in Volume 35 of this periodical. Concerning the experimental work of this three-year term emphasis is laid on the literature which deals with plant populations. Theoretical studies of population genetics, however, are more generally considered because their results are often of the same significance for plant, animal or human populations.
