Zusammenfassung

1912 publizierte Copelli einen Fall einer hämatologischen Systemerkrankung, gekennzeichnet durch progressive Anämie, Leukozytopenie und Splenomegalie mit Herden einer atypischen Erythropoese in Leber, Milz, Lymphknoten und Knochenmark. Copelli deutete die Befunde als neoplastische Erkrankung des erythropoetischen Systems, die er „atypische Erythromatose“nannte.
