Zusammenfassung

In den letzten Jahrzehnten wurden an leukämischen Zellen immer mehr biochemische Untersuchungen durchgeführt. Das liegt zunächst daran, daß keine andere neoplastische Zelle des Menschen so leicht zugänglich ist wie die leukämische Zelle. Es ist nicht schwierig, sie auch in großen Mengen aus Blut und Knochenmark zu gewinnen. Zudem läßt sie sich von anderen Zellen des peripheren Blutes trennen und ist gut quantifizierbar. Der Behandlungseffekt kann an der Zellzahl des peripheren Blutes und in letzter Zeit zunehmend auch an biochemischen Parametern gemessen werden.
