The ages of the total number of patients ranged from 5 – 78 years, as shown in Table 1. The highest rate of incidence of epilepsy was’ seen in the age group 20 – 24 years (17 %). Most patients were within the age range 10 – 44 years (390 patients, 84 %). The age distribution of female patients was slightly younger than that of male patients.
