Zusammenfassung

Die Erkenntnis, daß manche Erkrankungen der Niere mit einer Störung des Fettstoffwechsels bzw. einer milchigen Trübung des Plasmas einhergehen können, wurde schon sehr früh von Blackall (1813) und Bright (1927) gewonnen. Die Pathogenese dieser Störung konnte jedoch bis heute noch nicht voll aufgeklärt werden. Bönninger (1901) gelang zunächst der Nachweis, daß tatsächlich die Blutfette bei einem Nierenkranken erhöht waren, während eine Erhöhung des Serumcholesterins, der Triglyceride oder der Phospholipide erst in späteren differenzierten Untersuchungen gezeigt werden konnte (Eppstein, 1917; Daniels, 1925; Page, 1936; Peters u. Man, 1943; Thomas, 1951).
