Zusammenfassung

Der idiopathische diffuse Oesophagusspasmus — auch spastischer Oesophagus genannt — ist eine seltene, gutartige, organische Erkrankung der Speiseröhre unbekannter Genese. Wesentliches Merkmal ist die Entstehung von nicht peristaltisch verlaufenden, starken und lange anhaltenden spastischen Kontraktionen des thorakalen Anteils dieses Organs nach Schluckakten. Leitsymptome sind intermittierende Dysphagie und retrosternale Schmerzen, deren Ursache durch ein abnormes Röntgenbild und durch die Feststellung von klar definierten Veränderungen bei intraluminalen Druckmessungen erklärt warden kann.
