Mobile Intensive Care Units

Abstract

Helicopters are part of the civil defense relief and are organizationally incorporated. On the other hand, rescue by helicopter must also be considered as part of the earthbound rescue system. Therefore the integration of helicopters into the relief system of the Federal Republic is necessary. The most outstanding element of this operation is its twofold application, firstly in disaster relief, secondly in the rescue service for minor disaster occurring daily. Thus they are used to their best advantage.
