Abstract
The staff of an ambulance Station may have to face the problems of care for and transport of newborn babies in two entirely different situations:
-
1.
In the case of emergency, that is, birth at home or in the ambulance.
-
2.
When the baby has been delivered and appropriately treated in an institute, but has to be transported to another special establishment (e. g., premature ward).
