Abstract
The concluding chapter brings together under a common heading supplementary anatomical data and, without claiming to be comprehensive, angiographic and clinical data reported in the literature. It deals with the territories of supply of the arteries of the upper brainstem, especially the irrigation areas of the thalamic arteries, the displacement of the local arterial and venous channels by space-occupying lesions, with the symptoms produced by degenerative changes of the local arterial pathways and. lastly, with occlusive processes of the veins of Galen.
