Zusammenfassung

Die Verabreichung von Opiaten ist gewöhnlich mit einem Abfall des Blutdruckes verbunden. Diese Hypotension ist die Folge einer peripheren Vasodilatation im praekapillaren Stromgebiet (1). Es kommt zu einem parallelen Abfall sowohl des systolischen als auch des diastolischen Druckes. Einige Autoren postulieren, daß eine direkte Wirkung der Opiate auf die glatte Gefäßmuskulatur ursächlich in Erwägung zu ziehen ist. Der überwiegende Teil der Untersucher hat jedoch nachgewiesen, daß die Freisetzung von Histaminen durch zentral angreifende Analgetika für eine Vasodilatation verantwortlich ist (313).
