Abstract
Much time and effort has been devoted to the study of drugs to obtain sound sleep and tranquility on pre-operative nights and to relieve preoperative anxiety, and benzodiazepines have been introduced in the clinical field as an agent of tranquilizers and hypnotics in recent years.
