Neuropathology of Cerebral Hypoxia

Abstract

The clinical result of cerebral hypoxia is caused by a complex interaction of different lesions which we shall try to describe separately. The variety of effects cerebral hypoxia may produce is due to the fact that it provokes specific reactions in all different cell types of the brain (Table).
