Longitudinal section in the median line with a uterus 4 weeks post partum and a full bladder. The upper arrow shows the posterior wall of the symphysis, the lower arrow the promontorium. Scale divisions: 2 cm per section; true conjugate: 10.7 cm (also 10.7 cm when measured radiographically)
