Abstract

I do not suppose that your society has casually taken the decision to have a paper on the subject “The doctor’s liability in the field of neurosurgery” presented at its 25th annual meeting. The question as to whether liability cases are on the increase has been asked time and again during the last few years. In my view this question can be answered neither with a clear “yes” nor with a flat “no”.
