Abstract

On reviewing the cases already published, Cushing and Eisenhardt (2) were in doubt as to whether the low percentage of meningiomas of the posterior fossa in relation to all other meningiomas could represent their real incidence. — Numerous later reports confirmed this impression to be true (Table 1).
