Abstract

To avoid endangering the patient’s life the surgeon must accept limitations with respect to the extent to which he can go when performing surgery, when the median and posterior part of the longitudinal sinus is affected by the tumor but not obliterated (1). The possibility of recidivation exists (6, 16). Not only the surgical procedure itself but also the detection of recurrent growths constitute problems (12).
