Abstract

The incidence of multiple meningiomas among all meningiomas is about 1 – 2% (2, 4, 7, 8). OLIVECRONA (6), in his monograph on parasagittal meningiomas, states that multiple meningiomas are very rarely seen, so that in practice they must not be considered. In our clinic, among 108 meningiomas which were operated on from 1964 – 1974, we observed one patient with multiple meningiomas, on whom we are reporting in this paper.
