Abstract

The karyotypes displayed were obtained from squash preparations of the spleen. Both male (top) and female (bottom) have similar karyotypes. Heteromorphic sex chromosomes were not found in somatic and germ cells in either sex. The medium size chromosomes of pair 7 bear satellites on the short arm.
