Abstract
This chapter will briefly review the general facts about compact topological groups, fibre bundles, topological G-spaees and compact Lie groups that are necessary for the subsequent development. Basic concepts and definitions will be adequately explained; and proofs of some fundamental theorems will also be included whenever short clear cut proofs are available.
