Zusammenfassung

Die histologischen Grundeigenschaften des Inselgewebes der Bauchspeicheldrüse wurden vor allem aufgrund der Arbeiten von Langerhans (1893), Lane (1907) and Bensley (1911) genauer bekannt. Auf Basis dieser älteren Arbeiten und zahlreicher neuer eigener Unterlagen veröffentlichte Bargmann (1939) eine ausgezeichnete Zusammenfassung unserer Kenntnisse auf dem Gebiet der Normalhistologie des endokrinen Pankreas.
