Abstract
This final chapter deals with applications of the theory presented in this book to various areas of analysis; especially to approximation theory, spectral theory, and ergodic theory. Extensive use is made of the results and techniques developed in Chapters II–IV, so the reader may judge their efficiency and usefulness. We proceed to give a more detailed survey.
