Zusammenfassung

Basaliome sind nach LEVER (1967) naevoide Tumoren (Hamartome), die ihren Ausgang von undifferenzierten, unreifen epidermalen Zellen nehmen. Sie stehen in puncto Häufigkeit unter den epidermalen Geschwülsten an erster Stelle (Niebauer u. Zenker, 1966). In unseren Breiten treten basozelluläre Epitheliome, provoziert durch aktinische Einflüsse, zumeist erst nach dem 50. Lebensjahr auf. Bei zwei seltenen Krankheitsbildern, dem Basalzellnaevus-Syndrom und dem linearen Basalzellnaevus, treten multiple Basaliome bereits in der Kindheit auf.
