Zusammenfassung

Unter Oberflächenwellen verstehen wir inhomogene elektromagnetische Wellen, die sich längs der Grenzfläche zweier Medien ohne Strahlung ausbreiten. Dabei soll der Begriff Strahlung nicht die Deckung der Verluste durch Leitfähigkeit der Medien umfassen. Es handelt sich also um den Typ einer geführten Welle.
