  • Conference paper
Annals of Life Insurance Medicine 5

Abstract

Diabetes in the aged is insidious in onset and has become one of our most important geriatric problems. Although the onset of the disease is most common in middle life, the incidence is highest in the geriatric age group because of the increasing longevity of diabetics as a result of better management of the disease and the development of potent therapeutic agents in the treatment of complications.
