Viral Considerations

Abstract

It has been known for almost half a century that viruses can produce cancer of the breast in some experimental animals yet it is only in the last few years that viruses have come to the fore in etiologic considerations of human breast cancer. Because of the importance of the subject, we give a brief introduction citing pertinent experimental evidence, after which we discuss the information from the available literature concerning viruses in human breast cancer.
