Zusammenfassung

Für den Totalherzersatz werden nach mannigfaltigen Entwicklungsstufen im Klinikum Westend der FU Berlin zur Zeit doppelkammerige Blutpumpen vom Diaphragmatyp verwendet, die aus dacron-verstärktem Silastik gefertigt sind und Björk-Shiley-Ventile in Ein- und Auslaßposition besitzen.
