Zusammenfassung

Die Leberregeneration nach partieller Hepatektomie ist aufgrund zahlreicher Untersuchungen abhängig von der Zufuhr portalen Blu­tes (1, 2, 3). Das Vorhandensein eines hepatotrophen portalen Faktors (HPBF) ist als entscheidende Ursache für dieses Phäno­men beschrieben worden (2, 3). Im Einzelnen ist jedoch der Wir­kungsmechanismus des HPBF noch ungeklärt sowie die Frage, welche Organe als sein Ursprungsort anzusehen sind. Neuere Un­tersuchungen mittels selektiver Organentfernung von splanchni­schen Organen haben das Interesse auf Pankreas und Duodenum als Ursprungsort des HPBF konzentriert (4).
