Zusammenfassung
Die proximal-selektive Vagotomie mit oder ohne Drainageverfahren hat sich an mehreren Zentren als Operation der Wahl in der Behandlung des einfachen peptischen Ulcus durchgesetzt. Mit dem Insulin- oder 2-Desoxy-D-Glucosetest wird postoperativ geprüft, ob die Parietalzell -Denervation durch die Vagotomie vollständig ist (1, 2). Sowohl Insulin, wie auch 2-Desoxy-D-Glucosetest können aber unangenehme Nebenwirkungen haben, auch darüber hinaus hat sich gezeigt, daß das Resultat beider Tests in einem hohen Prozentsatz der Fälle einer inkompletten Vagotomie entspricht, obwohl die postoperativen Resultate gut sind.
