Zusammenfassung

Nach einer Untersuchung der Brooks-Foundation [38] hat sich die Menge an wissenschaftlichen Informationen von 1800 bis 1900 verdoppelt. Die nächste Verdoppelung benötigte nur noch 50 Jahre (1900 bis 1950), die folgende Verdoppelung 10 Jahre (1950 bis 1960), der gegenwärtige Verdoppelungszeitraum wird mit ca. 6 Jahren angegeben.
