Zusammenfassung
Die postoperativ auftretenden Kreislaufprobleme, die den Einsatz von Katecholaminen erfordern, sind einerseits Probleme des Kreislaufes selber, andererseits Probleme der Pharmakologie der Katecholamine. Die zwei wichtigsten Indikationen für die postoperative Anwendung von Katecholaminen sind erstens bedrohliche Abnahmen des Herzzeitvolumens im Schockzustand oder im Zustand, den man euphemistisch als „weak cardiac action“ oder als „low cardiac output syndrome“ bezeichnet, zweitens bradykarde Herzrhythmusstörungen.
