Abstract

Bacteriological investigations were carried out during the cruise of RV “Meteor” in the Arabian Sea in March and April 1965. The distribution of bacteria was studied in the northern Gulf of Oman and the Straits of Hormuz, as influenced by the currents flowing out of the Persian Gulf.
