Zusammenfassung

Es kann nicht verwundern, daß in der Leukoseforschung die Analyse des Chromosomensatzes von Zellen der bhitbildenden Systeme eine theoretische, und bei dem technischen Stand der methodischen Zugänglichkeit der Chromosomen eine praktische Bedeutung gewonnen hat. Seit gut 80 Jahren, zuerst von v. Hansemann [24] und später von Boveri [4], wird die Frage des Verlustes des chromosomalen Gleichgewichts als einer moglichen Atiologie oder zumindest als wesentlichem Kriterium der Geschwtilste diskutiert [54 b]. Die moderneren Methoden und die nachhaltig-stimulierende Wirkung, die die spektakulare Entdeckung des PhChromosoms durch NOWELL und HUNGERFORD [52, 53] bei der chronis chen myeloischen Leukamie unter Hamatologen hervorrief, haben diese Diskussion in einen praktisch wichtigeren Bereich geführt und dürften ihr auch eine solidere Grundlage geben.
