Abstract

Profile determinations conducted at heights between 1 m and 20 m yielded constant ozone concentration gradients and constant ozone fluxes for given stratification and wind velocity. An increase in the gradient with increasing stability was observed. However, since the transport coefficient decreases as the stability increases, calculation of the flux and the destruction rate yielded no significant difference for the two cases of stable and unstable stratification discussed here.
