Abstract

If u (x, y) is a solution of a differential equation of the form Δu=P, where P is a function of x, y, u, ux, ... etc., then u is subharmonic in every domain G in which P is ≧ 0 (see 3.2). For various inferences from this remark see Brelot ([1], pp. 52–55).
